Jason Durr

  • NewSchool of Architecture and Design, Bachelor of Architecture
  • Truckee Meadows Community College, Associate in Arts in Architecture

A close runner-up for “Most Interesting Man in the World”, Jason brings a new level of personal and professional diversity to MBA.  Taking his extracurriculars as seriously as his work, you can find Jason offering an adventurous perspective no matter the topic. While in school in San Diego Jason began working as a fabrication lab instructor, overseeing and teaching students how to use fabrication equipment, both digital and analog.  This involvement with the school coupled with his thesis year instructor, James Enos, led to a fundamental roll in “The Periscope Project,” a non-profit artist collective focusing on alternative development strategies based in the now-thriving “East Village” of San Diego. After hot-air ballooning his way back to Reno permanently, Jason now has a position at TMCC instructing a recurring Revit Class for professionals and students in the community.  Skilled in all things practical, and sometimes impractical, Jason’s diverse tool set will be put to use at MBA while he is on his way to become a Licensed Architect.
